Release Something Great.
Studio One Photography is a full-service music recording, mixing, video production, and livestream studio located in downtown Wyandotte, Michigan.
Recording • Mixing • Mastering
Live Sessions • Music Videos • Livestreaming
Our studio serves solo artists, singers, songwriters, bands, drummers, voiceover clients, podcasters, schools, and independent creators throughout Downriver and Metro Detroit. Whether you need to record one song, produce a complete release, film a live performance, capture professional drum tracks, or finish a mix that has been sitting on your hard drive, we can help bring the project across the finish line.
A Real Studio Built for Musicians
Studio ONE includes a spacious approximately 900-square-foot camera and performance room with enough space for full bands, drum kits, amplifiers, keyboards, video equipment, lighting, and live audiences when appropriate.
Unlike a small bedroom recording setup, our room allows musicians to perform naturally and communicate visually while recording. The space works especially well for:
- Full-band recording sessions
- Live-in-the-studio performances
- Drum tracking
- Vocal recording
- Guitar and bass recording
- Keyboard and piano sessions
- Music videos
- Multicamera performance videos
- Livestream concerts
- Audition and demo recordings
- Voiceover and spoken-word projects
The facility also includes dressing rooms, a lobby, restrooms, production areas, and space for musicians to prepare between takes.
Full-Band Recording
Bring the entire band into the studio and record together, track instruments separately, or combine both methods. We can build the session around the way your group performs best.
Our space can accommodate drums, guitar and bass amplifiers, keyboards, vocalists, acoustic instruments, and additional performers. Sessions can range from energetic live recordings to carefully layered studio productions.
Vocal Recording
Record lead vocals, harmonies, voiceovers, demos, or finished commercial releases. We can help with microphone selection, headphone mixes, vocal comping, editing, tuning when requested, and preparation of final vocal tracks.
Drum Recording
Studio ONE is operated by experienced musicians and engineers who understand that drum recording is more than placing a few microphones around a kit.
We can capture close microphones, overheads, room microphones, and natural ambience while preserving the attack, dynamics, and personality of the drummer. Multitrack drum recording is available for original music, remote collaborations, demos, sample production, and replacement tracks.
Guitar, Bass, and Keyboard Recording
Record amplifiers in the live room, capture direct signals for re-amping, or combine microphone and direct recording. Artists can use their own equipment or discuss available studio amplifiers, instruments, keyboards, and production tools before the session.
Singer-Songwriter and Solo Artist Sessions
You do not need to arrive with a complete band or finished production. We can help solo artists build arrangements, record vocals and instruments, develop demos, and turn an original song into a finished recording.
Remote Session Recording
Need drums, percussion, editing, mixing, or additional production for a song recorded somewhere else? Send us your session files or consolidated tracks. We can record additional parts and return organized multitrack files or a finished mix.
Watch a Live Band Perform at Studio ONE
This performance was recorded and streamed live from our Wyandotte studio. Our large performance space makes it possible to combine professional audio recording, stage lighting, multiple cameras, and live video production in one location.
Live sessions can be recorded for later editing or streamed directly to your audience. We can provide the room, recording equipment, cameras, lighting, switching, and production support needed to create a polished live performance.
Mixing and Audio Production
A strong recording can still fall apart during the mix. We provide professional mixing for music recorded at Studio ONE or recorded at another studio, at home, or through remote collaboration.
Mixing services may include:
- Session organization and cleanup
- Timing and performance editing
- Vocal comping
- Pitch correction when appropriate
- Drum editing
- Drum sample reinforcement when requested
- Noise reduction
- EQ and dynamics processing
- Reverb, delay, and creative effects
- Automation
- Stereo mix preparation
- Instrumental, performance, and alternate versions
- Delivery files for streaming, video, and distribution
Our goal is not to force every artist into the same sound. The mix should support the song, genre, arrangement, and personality of the performer.

One Location for Audio, Video, and Artist Photography
Artists often need more than a recording.
Studio ONE can produce coordinated audio, video, photography, and promotional materials during the same project. This can include:
- Finished song recording
- Professional mix
- Live performance video
- Artist headshots
- Band photographs
- Album or single artwork
- Vertical social media clips
- YouTube content
- Behind-the-scenes footage
- Promotional graphics
Producing these materials together gives the release a more consistent visual identity and can save the artist from coordinating several different studios and production companies.
An Experienced Musician Behind the Session
Your project is being handled by someone who understands music from both sides of the glass.
Studio ONE recording sessions are led by an experienced producer, engineer, drummer, and working musician with decades of experience in recording, performance, studio technology, audio editing, video production, and live sound.
That musical background makes communication easier. You do not have to explain every idea in technical language. We understand arrangements, tempo, feel, dynamics, tone, performance, and the difference between a technically correct take and one that actually feels good.
The technology supports the music—not the other way around.
